  • Disconnecting the following two ribbon cables may be challenging. To prevent straining the cables or connectors, you can only separate the two halves of the iPod about 1/2 inch during the process.

  • Use a spudger to flip up the black plastic tab holding the orange display ribbon in place. The black tab will rotate up 90 degrees, releasing the ribbon cable.

La déconnexion des deux nappes suivantes peut s'avérer difficile. Pour éviter de forcer sur les nappes ou les connecteurs, vous ne pouvez séparer les deux moitiés de l'iPod que d'environ 1,5 cm au cours du processus.

Utilisez une spatule pour relever la languette en plastique noir qui maintient la nappe orange de l'écran en place. La languette noire pivotera vers le haut de 90 degrés, libérant ainsi la nappe.
