Battery removal

  • With the motherboard removed you now have access to the battery's connection to the motherboard.

  • The battery is also adhered to the motherboard. So you will want to use a plastic spudger or similar tool to pry the battery from the motherboard.

  • Please use a plastic tool to pry the battery up rather than a metal tool. Just to be safe.

  • I did not have to apply any heat to loosen the adhesive under the battery. I did use some needle tip tweezers to get under a lip where a screw belongs, just high enough so I could get my plastic spudger under the battery.

  • Then work your way around the battery to free it from the adhesive. Beware that the ribbon cable is located near the camera so be careful when you get to that area.

Retrait de la batterie

Une fois la carte mère retirée, vous avez maintenant accès à la connexion de la batterie à la carte mère.

La batterie est également collée à la carte mère. Vous voudrez donc utiliser un spudger en plastique ou un outil similaire pour retirer la batterie de la carte mère.

Veuillez utiliser un outil en plastique pour soulever la batterie plutôt qu'un outil en métal. Juste pour être sûr.

Je n'ai pas eu besoin d'appliquer de chaleur pour décoller l'adhésif sous la batterie. J'ai utilisé des pincettes à pointe d'aiguille pour passer sous une lèvre où une vis appartient, juste assez haut pour que je puisse mettre mon spudger en plastique sous la batterie.

Faites ensuite le tour de la batterie pour la libérer de l'adhésif. Attention, le câble ruban est situé près de la caméra, soyez donc prudent lorsque vous arrivez dans cette zone.
