  • Disassemble the new headphone jack.

  • Measure the inside length of the new headphone jack.

  • Add half an inch to the length you measured, and mark the new length on the old headphone wire.

  • Clamp the wire strippers around the wire where the mark is. Press tight enough to cut through the insulation but not the wire. Pull (Strip) the insulation from the mark to the cut end.

Desmonta el nuevo jack para los auriculares.

Mide la longitud interna de este nuevo conector jack.

Añádele media pulgada (1.2 cm más o menos) a la longitud que has medido, y marca esta nueva longitud en el extremo del cable antiguo de los auriculares.

Coloca el pelacables sobre la marca del cable. Aprieta ligeramente para cortar el aislamiento externo pero no el cable interno. Tira (decapa) el aislamiento desde la marca hacia el extremo cortado.
