Sticker peel
  • The next part I remove is the sticker. On the underside of it is some flex cables so be careful peeling it away to not jerk the cables. I lifted up the mother board with my hand to elevate the sticker, and pulled the sticker away from the top right corner slowly a small bit at first

  • With the tweezers and now using my hand to hold the cable in place with my finger as I further pulled it away with the tweezers. Give this process a lot of time and use your best judgment. The ribbon did get slightly peeled away from the back plate but doesn't seem to be a problem.

  • You might have noticed I removed the thermal pad. It wasnt needed in the end.
