  • Apple decided to solder the largest cables onto the trackpad board, meaning we'll have to just flip it out of the way for now. Y U NO ZIF, Apple?

  • The new trackpad board has some interesting ICs:

  • ST Microelectronics 32F103 ARM Cortex-M based microcontroller

  • Broadcom BCM5976 touch screen controller

  • This is the same lil' guy found in the iPhone 5s as well as the iPad Air.

Questi componenti stanno mettendo in atto uno sforzo coordinato per sfuggire ai nostri occhi. Usiamo il nostro strumento di apertura in plastica per spingere fuori dalla nostra strada la scheda di controllo del trackpad che però non rimuoviamo...

Apple ha deciso di saldare i cavi più grossi sulla scheda del trackpad, il che significa che dobbiamo semplicemente spingerla da un lato, almeno per ora.

La nuova scheda del trackpad ha degli integrati interessanti:

Microcontroller ST Microelectronics 32F103 basato su architettura ARM Cortex-M

Controller touchscreen Broadcom BCM5976

È lo stesso identico aggeggino che si trova nell'iPhone 5s e nell'iPad Air.
