  • Start the truck and let it run for 5 minutes before turning off the engine.

  • Locate the engine dipstick. The dipstick is located on the left side of the engine compartment and is designated by a yellow ring.

  • Remove the dipstick and wipe it clean.

  • Reinsert and remove the dipstick to see if the oil is between the two dots on the dipstick.

  • The job is finished if the oil is between or slightly above the two dots.

  • If the oil is below the two dots, add new oil in small increments into the oil fill tube until the dipstick shows it is between the two dots.

  • Do not pour oil into the dipstick tube.

Arranca el camión y déjalo funcionar durante 5 minutos antes de apagar el motor.

Localiza la varilla medidora del motor. La varilla de nivel está ubicada en el lado izquierdo del compartimiento del motor y está designada por un anillo amarillo.

Quita la varilla medidora y límpiala.

Vuelve a insertar y quita la varilla medidora para ver si el aceite está entre los dos puntos de la varilla medidora.

El trabajo estará terminado si el aceite se encuentra entre o ligeramente por encima de los dos puntos.

Si el aceite está por debajo de los dos puntos, agrega aceite nuevo en pequeños incrementos en el tubo de llenado de aceite hasta que la varilla medidora muestre que está entre los dos puntos.

No viertas aceite en el tubo de la varilla medidora.
