  • Before continuing, take note of your current oil level by following these steps.

  • The metal rod attached to the cap is the dip stick and is used to test the oil level in your mower.

  • Wipe any oil off the tip of the stick and reinsert it into the mower. Make sure to tighten the cap down when doing so.

  • Remove the cap and stick once again and note the height of the oil left on the bottom of the stick.

  • If the oil is in between the two small holes, looks clean, and you haven't experienced any mechanical difficulties, your mower's oil is in good shape and does not need replacement.

Bevor du weitermachst, notiere deinen aktuellen Ölstand, indem du die nachfolgenden Schritte absolvierst.

Der Metallstab am Deckel ist der Ölpeilstab, der benutzt wird, um den Ölstand im Mäher zu überprüfen.

Wische sämtliches Öl von der Spitze des Stabes ab und schiebe ihn wieder in den Mäher hinein. Achte darauf, die Kappe dabei festzudrehen.

Entnimm den Deckel inkl. Stab nochmal und notiere die Höhe des Ölfilms am Peilstab

Falls sich der Ölstand zwischen den beiden kleinen Löchern befindet, sauber aussieht und du keine mechanischen Probleme hast, ist dein Öl in gutem Zustand und muss nicht ausgetauscht werden.
