  • Gently grasp the motherboard by the heat sink (the black finned piece). Lift the motherboard at an angle such that the ports along the back side come up first.

  • Continue lifting the motherboard, then slowly tilt the piece off to the right to break the Mylar tape over the front USB ports.

  • Be careful when handling the motherboard to prevent electro-static discharge (ESD) damage. If the motherboard is being removed as part of a prerequisite, place the motherboard into a bag designed to prevent a build up of a static charge (usually referred to as a static bag).

Saisissez doucement la carte mère par le dissipateur de chaleur (le morceau à ailettes noir). Soulevez la carte mère à un angle tel que les ports situés à l'arrière apparaissent en premier.

Continuez à soulever la carte mère, puis inclinez lentement la pièce vers la droite pour casser le ruban adhésif Mylar sur les ports USB avant.

Veillez à ne pas endommager les décharges électrostatiques lors de la manipulation de la carte mère. Si la carte mère est retirée en tant que partie intégrante d’une condition préalable, placez-la dans un sac conçu pour éviter l’accumulation de charges statiques (généralement appelé sac statique).
