  • After wrangling the logic board/battery/display assembly out of the rear panel, we can finally access the screws holding the volume button cover and the sleep button down.

  • After a good bit of anxiety-filled scraping with a metal spudger, the ribbon cable is finally free from the rear panel.

  • The control ribbon cable is bonded to the rear panel extremely well, especially near the volume buttons. Since the volume buttons have no structural bracket (just a steel cover) holding them to the rear panel, the adhesive bond must be strong enough to survive presses from the strongest of button pushers.

Después de sacar el ensamblaje de la placa lógica/batería/pantalla del panel posterior, finalmente podemos acceder a los tornillos que sujetan la cubierta del botón de volumen y el botón de suspensión.

Después de un buen rato de raspado lleno de ansiedad con un spudger de metal, el cable plano finalmente está libre del panel trasero.

El cable plano de control está muy bien conectado al panel trasero, muy cerca de los botones de volumen. Dado que los botones de volumen no tienen un soporte estructural (solo una cubierta de acero) que los sujete al panel posterior, la unión adhesiva debe ser lo suficientemente fuerte para sobrevivir a las presiones de los botones más fuertes.
