  • Strip about 1/2" of insulation from both wires.

  • Twist the wires together and insert them into the twist-on wire connector. Turn the connector several times until the cap feels secure, and you can tug on it without it falling off.

  • After testing the lights and making sure the bad socket fixed the problem, consider putting in some silicone sealant (or museum wax) into the cap in order to keep moisture out and prevent the wires from corroding.

Spellare circa 1 cm di isolamento da entrambi i fili.

Intrecciare i fili e inserirli nel connettore per cavi intrecciati. Girare il connettore più volte fino a quando il cappuccio non si sente sicuro, e si può tirare senza farlo cadere.

Dopo aver testato le luci e verificato di aver risolto il problema, prendi in considerazione l'inserimento di un sigillante siliconico (o cera da museo) nel cappuccio per evitare l'umidità e impedire che i cavi si corrodano.
