Removing the 1.75" Axle Bolt

  • Orient the scooter so that the front wheel is facing you. Observe the right and left side of the wheel. Remember which is which throughout the guide.

  • Using an Allen wrench, unscrew the axle bolt slowly from the right side while applying a constant pressure with your hand on the left side of the bearing.

  • If the left side of the bolt turns while you unscrew the right side, you will need to use a second Allen wrench to prevent it from moving

  • If the bolt does not move at all, or moves very little, try applying a lubricant on as much of the screw as possible and try again in 5 minutes.

  • Carefully pull apart the bolt and bearing from either side of the wheel.

Retrait du boulon d'essieu de 1,75"

Orientez le scooter de manière à ce que la roue avant soit face à vous. Observez le côté droit et gauche de la roue. Rappelez-vous qui est qui tout au long du guide.

À l'aide d'une clé Allen, dévissez lentement le boulon d'essieu du côté droit tout en appliquant une pression constante avec votre main sur le côté gauche du roulement.

Si le côté gauche du boulon tourne pendant que vous dévissez le côté droit, vous devrez utiliser une deuxième clé Allen pour l'empêcher de bouger

Si le boulon ne bouge pas du tout, ou très peu, essayez d'appliquer un lubrifiant sur la plus grande partie possible de la vis et réessayez dans 5 minutes.

Séparez soigneusement le boulon et le roulement de chaque côté de la roue.
