  • The metal backing plate behind the wood trim strip is held to the dash by a few "pegs" and can only be safely removed from behind. To make this easier, you can simply leave the metal strip on the dash.

  • Proceed to clean up the old glue from the metal strip with a sharp utility blade. Be careful, and take your time, so as to not cut the dash material or yourself!

La placa de respaldo de metal atrás de la cinta de moldura de madera esta sostenida al tablero por algunas "clavijas" y solo pueden ser removidas con seguridad desde atrás. Para hacer esto más fácil, puedes simplemente dejas la cinta de metal en el tablero.

Procede a limpiar el pegamento viejo de la cinta de metal con una hoja de utilidad afilada. Ten cuidado, y tomate tu tiempo, ¡para que no cortes el material del tablero o a ti mismo!
