  • Screws out, and the display assembly pops out of the rear case with minimal jostling.

  • Amazon kept a minimalistic approach from the start on their Seventh Kindle. Ditching buttons in favor of a touch screen sounded intense to us, but so far it's looking like the decision made for a greatly simplified design.
