Remove/Service the Gearbox - Part 1/3

  • If you just need to remove the large gear, here's the time to do it. You can lift it off with a pair of pliers underneath. Note that this is attached to a plastic gear inside the gearbox and this is the usual failure point if your low speed attachment is not working but your mixer runs.

  • Next, undo the screws holding the gearbox onto the mixer body. There is one on either side of the mixer (only one shown). If your motor is dead, you may not need to do this.

Si sólo necesitas quitar el engranaje grande, éste es el momento de hacerlo. Puede levantarlo con un par de alicates por debajo. Ten en cuenta que está unido a un engranaje de plástico dentro de la caja de engranajes y este es el punto de fallo habitual si su accesorio de baja velocidad no funciona pero su batidora funciona.

A continuación, afloja los tornillos que sujetan la caja de engranajes al cuerpo de la mezcladora. Hay uno a cada lado de la batidora (sólo se muestra uno). Si tu motor está muerto, puede que no necesites hacer esto.
