  • Disassemble the upper metal shield by first unscrewing the 3 Phillips screws.

  • On the 2-cables model, you'll need to unscrew an additional 2 small Phillips screws, located on the underside of the drive. While you're at it, unscrew the 2 other Phillips screws at the bottom of the shield. (Their presence does not prevent removal of the upper metal shield, but removing them will be useful later).

Retirez le boîtier métallique supérieur en dévissant d'abord les 3 vis cruciformes.

Sur le modèle à 2 nappes, il y a 2 petites vis cruciformes en plus à dévisser, elles se trouvent sur le dessous du lecteur. Au passage, dévissez les 2 autres vis cruciformes qui se situent en bas du boîtier. (Leur présence n'empêche pas de retirer le boîtier métallique supérieur, mais les retirer sera utile plus tard.)
