  • Cut a small section of wire, smaller than 1/16" in diameter, and insert it in the hole you just drilled at the back of the switch body.

  • Bend the top and bottom of this wire so it stays in the opening.

  • This will keep the shaft inside the body. Keep in mind that it's OK to leave the back of the switch open; the two rubber seals on the shaft are what retain the vacuum inside the switch.

  • An alternative would be to find a cotter pin of suitable size to fit in this hole.

Coupez une petite section de fil, d'un diamètre inférieur à 1/16" et insérez-la dans le trou que vous venez de percer à l'arrière du corps de l'interrupteur.

Pliez le haut et le bas de ce fil pour qu’il reste dans l’ouverture.

Cela permettra de maintenir l'arbre à l'intérieur du corps. Gardez à l'esprit qu'il est tout à fait possible de laisser l'arrière de l'interrupteur ouvert ; les deux joints en caoutchouc sur l'arbre sont ceux qui retiennent le vide à l'intérieur de l'interrupteur.

Une alternative serait de trouver une goupille fendue de taille adaptée pour s'adapter à ce trou.
