  • Separate the window regulator arm from the bottom rail on the glass and then slowly push the glass up in to the door.

  • When the glass reaches the top of the door, secure it with strong tape that will not leave a residue on the glass. Several large pieces of blue painters tape works well. Secure it by using long pieces that go over the top of the door and attaches to the glass on both sides.

  • Do not leave the glass taped in such a way for long periods of time and never drive the car with the glass taped in place. If you need to drive the car with the regulator removed be sure to very carefully secure the window in the up position with a very strong brace. This guide does not cover this process.

Trenne den Arm des Fensterhebers von der unteren Glasschiene und schiebe dann das Glas langsam in der Tür nach oben.

Wenn das Glas ganz oben ist, dann klebe es mit starkem Klebeband fest, welches keine Spuren zurücklässt. Eine Stücke von blauem Malerband funktionieren ganz gut. Befstige es mit langen Stücken, die über die Tür weggehen und auf beiden Seiten am Glas festgeklebt sind.

Lasse das Glas nicht längere Zeit so stehen und fahre keinesfalls damit. Wenn du tatsächlich mit dem Auto fahren musst, obwohl der Fensterheber weg ist, dann stütze die Scheibe gut ab. Das wird hier aber nicht beschrieben.
