  • Position your fabric under the presser foot of your sewing machine in the upper right hand corner of the hook-and-loop tape. Drop the presser foot.

  • Use the balance wheel to sink the needle.

  • The balance wheel should only be turned in the direction that advances the sewing machine. Usually, this means turning the wheel towards you. Turning the wheel in the opposite direction can ruin the tension on the sewing machine, causing it to jam. See your sewing machine manual for instructions specific to your machine.

Placez le tissu sous le pied presseur de la machine, en positionnant l’aiguille au-dessus du coin supérieur droit du ruban Velcro®. Abaissez le pied presseur.

Tournez le volant pour faire descendre l’aiguille.

Vous devez tourner le volant dans le sens qui permet de faire avancer la pièce à coudre. Généralement, vous allez donc le tourner vers vous. Si vous tournez le volant dans l’autre sens, vous risquez de modifier la tension de la machine et donc de provoquer un bourrage de fil.
