Cut out the patch

  • Use sharp scissors to cut a shape out of the Tenacious Tape® that's large enough to cover the hole and overlap it by at least half an inch (~13 mm) all the way around.

  • Round the corners of the patch because sharp edges tend to get caught and peel up.

  • Check that the patch is cut to the right size.

  • Multiple patches can be overlapped to cover a large tear or a unique shape, like an L. Ensure each patch overlaps by at least half an inch (~13 mm).

補修用パッチの切り出し

切れ味の良いハサミを用意して、穴とその周囲を1／2インチ（約13mm）以上覆える大きさにテネシアステープを切り出します。

パッチの角を丸めて下さい。角があると引っかかったり剥がれたりします。

補修用パッチが適切な大きさに切り出されているか確認して下さい。

大きな破損やL字型のような独特な形の破損を補修する場合は、複数のパッチが重なってしまっても構いません。パッチが重なる部分には1／2インチ（約13mm）以上の幅を持たせて下さい。
