Cut out the patch

  • Use sharp scissors to cut a shape out of the Tenacious Tape® that's large enough to cover the hole and overlap it by at least half an inch (~13 mm) all the way around.

  • Round the corners of the patch because sharp edges tend to get caught and peel up.

  • Check that the patch is cut to the right size.

  • Multiple patches can be overlapped to cover a large tear or a unique shape, like an L. Ensure each patch overlaps by at least half an inch (~13 mm).

Flicken zurechtschneiden

Schneide aus dem Tenacious Tape® mit einer scharfen Schere einen Flicken zurecht. Er muss auf das Loch passen und etwas 13 mm weit über die Ränder hinausgehen.

Runde die Ecken ab, weil spitze Ecken zum Ablösen neigen.

Lege den Flecken probeweise auf und überprüfe, ob er gut passt.

Wenn der Riss sehr groß oder L-förmig ist, können mehrere Flicken verwendet werden. Sie müssen sich aber mindestens 13 mm weit überlappen.
