Assess the damage

  • Locate the hole.

  • Don't pull out any emerging feathers! Use a finger or pointed tool to push the feathers back inside the hole.

  • If a feather is emerging, but there isn't a tear in the fabric, follow this guide to pull feathers back into a down jacket.

Évaluer les dégâts

Repérez l'accroc.

Ne tirez pas sur les plumes avec vos doigts. Ce geste ne ferait qu’aggraver le problème, car d’autres plumes risquent d’être entraînées à la suite.

Si une plume dépasse, mais qu'il n'y a pas de déchirure dans le tissu, suivez ce tutoriel pour remettre les plumes dans une doudoune.
