Remove the Heat Sink

  • CAUTION: Even though the heat-sink assembly has a protective plastic covering, be careful when touching it -- the assembly may still be hot if your PC was just on.

  • Release the blue plastic secure lever under the heat-sink assembly by pushing the tab and pivoting the lever down and away from the assembly.

  • Remove the two screws located at the top and bottom of the heat-sink assembly using a standard Phillips-head screwdriver.

  • Pull the heat-sink assembly off the board as if it were a door with its hinges on the right.

  • Clean the old thermal paste from the contact points on the heat sink

PRECAUCIÓN: aunque el ensamblaje del disipador de calor tiene una cubierta protectora de plástico, tenga cuidado al tocarlo; es posible que el ensamblaje aún esté caliente si su PC estaba encendida.

Suelte la palanca de seguridad de plástico azul debajo del ensamblaje del disipador de calor empujando la lengüeta y girando la palanca hacia abajo y alejándola del ensamblaje.

Retire los dos tornillos ubicados en la parte superior e inferior del ensamblaje del disipador de calor con un destornillador Phillips estándar.

Saque el conjunto del disipador de calor del tablero como si fuera una puerta con sus bisagras a la derecha.

Limpie la pasta térmica vieja de los puntos de contacto en el disipador de calor
