  • Gently depress the foot pedal and begin sewing.

  • Be sure the needle penetrates the pant leg on only one side. It may be easier to position the pant leg around the arm of the sewing machine with the table removed. If you sew through both layers, you will sew the pant leg shut!

  • Pause when you reach a pin, and remove it before continuing.

  • Do not attempt to sew over any pins. Hitting a pin can bend or break the sewing machine needle.

Appuyez doucement sur la pédale pour commencer à coudre. 

Prenez soin de ne pas piquer les deux épaisseurs de la jambe en même temps. Pour faciliter les choses, vous pouvez enfiler la jambe du pantalon sur le bras libre de la machine. Faites attention de ne pas coudre la jambe, vous ne pourriez plus enfiler votre pantalon ! 

Lorsque l’aiguille approche d’une épingle, interrompez-vous le temps de retirer celle-ci, puis poursuivez la couture. 

N’essayez pas de coudre sans retirer les épingles. L’aiguille peut en effet se casser ou se tordre si elle bute sur une épingle.
