  • On a flat, clean surface, lay the pants down on their side with the newly shortened pant leg on top.

  • Using a ruler, note the distance from the edge of the old cuff to the edge of the new cuff.

  • Repeat the measurement several times along the width of the cuff, making sure the new hemline is perfectly even.

Pliez le pantalon et posez-le à plat, en plaçant sur le dessus la jambe où vous avez marqué l’ourlet. 

Prenez votre règle pour mesurer l’écart entre l’ourlet de l’autre jambe et celui que vous venez de marquer. 

Refaites ces mesures à plusieurs endroits, pour vous assurer que le nouvel ourlet est bien droit.
