Water Filter Removal
  • Now that the hose is off. Take your 1 & 1/8th's wrench and place it on the back of the Angled piece as seen circled in the 1st picture. Rotate Clockwise to tighten it, this will bring the spout/filter down, its best to get it AS CLOSE TO THE FRAME AS POSSIBLE! All of the way down so that the side spigot doesn't snag when unscrewing.

  • Once the Spout/water filter is facing as far down as it can, Begin by taking your 1 & 1/8th Wrench and unscrew the water filter off, at its base.

  • If you need to, I found it was easier to put the wrench under the side spigot/spout that's on the water filter spout. (see 2nd picture)

  • After the Water filter spout has been removed, go ahead and use the same wrench to remove the Angled piece that the water filter was connected to. It may be very difficult. What i did was, I placed the wrench, and then used a socket wrench extender to give leverage so i can rotate until i can rotate by hand. (see 3rd picture)
