Secure the phone to your work surface

  • Since the battery pull tabs require two hands, you'll need to firmly secure the phone to your work surface.

  • Before securing your phone, clean the work surface, making sure nothing is under the screen.

  • Only secure the phone by the raised lip of the frame, and be very careful not to clamp down on any internal components.

  • Use F‑Clamps or C‑Clamps to secure the phone to your work surface. At minimum, you'll need two clamps—one for the top edge and one for the bottom edge.

  • Use clamps with plastic or rubber pads. If using metal clamps, place a cloth between the frame and the clamp to avoid marring the metal frame.

  • If you don't have any clamps, have a friend hold the phone firmly in place.

  • Make sure to follow ESD precautions when securing the phone.

端末を作業台に固定する

バッテリーのプルタブを使う作業には両手が必要なので、作業台に端末をしっかり固定する必要があります。

端末を固定する前に、作業台の上を掃除して、スクリーンの下に何もないようにします。

端末の固定はフレームの高くなっている縁で行い、内部部品に押さえる力がかからないように十分注意して下さい。

F型クランプやC型クランプを使って、作業台の上に端末を固定します。最も少ない場合、クランプは2個必要になります。1つは上の端、もう一つは下の端に取り付けます。

プラスチック製やゴム製のパッドがついているクランプを使うことをお勧めします。金属製のクランプを使う場合は、フレームとクランプの間に布などを挟んで、金属製のフレームに傷が付くのを防いでください。

クランプがない場合は、お友達に端末をしっかり押さえてもらって下さい。

端末を固定する際は、ESD対策を必ず行なって下さい。
