Unfasten the MagSafe port

  • Use a 2IP Torx Plus driver to loosen (don't remove) the two MagSafe Port set screws a few turns above the frame.

  • These screws can strip easily. Make sure to apply constant, downward force to prevent stripping.

  • Use your 5IP Torx Plus driver to remove the two 2.7 mm-long screws securing the MagSafe port.

  • These screws are not magnetic—be careful not to lose them.

Liberar el puerto MagSafe

Utiliza un destornillador Torx T2 para aflojar los dos tornillos de fijación en el marco que alinean el puerto MagSafe.

No retires estos tornillos. Simplemente aflójelos unas cuantas vueltas por encima del marco.

Dependiendo del estado de tu controlador, una punta Torx T3 podría ser la mejor opción.

Utiliza tu controlador Torx T5 para quitar los dos tornillos 5IP Torx Plus de 2,7 mm de largo que sujetan el puerto MagSafe.
