Remove the trackpad

  • Swing the display open slightly, but keep the MacBook upside-down. The trackpad should separate and lay flat on the display.

  • As you remove the trackpad, be very careful not to lose the six small metal washers resting on the screw posts. (They will fly off and get lost with very little provocation.)

  • Carefully feed the trackpad's ribbon cable through its slot in the frame.

Verwijder het trackpad

Klap het scherm een klein stukje open, maar houd de MacBook op z'n kop. De trackpadmodule zou los moeten komen en plat op het scherm komen te liggen.

Zorg dat je bij het verwijderen van de trackpadmodule extra voorzichtig bent en voorkomt dat je de negen kleine metalen ringetjes die op de schroefgaten zitten verliest. Deze komen makkelijk los en zijn makkelijk kwijt te raken.

Begeleid de lintkabel van het trackpad voorzichtig door het gat in het frame.
