The new cables

  • Buy new cables. These cables are called FFC or FPC flex cable. The distance between the contacts ( called Pitch ) is 0.5mm. Cable length is origin 12 cm (10 cm or 15 cm fits also). More details:

  • Buttons power, led, : 13 Pin - Type A

  • Buttons play, + , - , connect : 6 Pin - Type B (reverse) (=the connectors are reversed to each other)

  • The (blue) inflexible cable-end have to be maximal 0.5 mm long (at least one side). Otherwise you must trim this part: Use tools like cutter & scissors ( see video below ) or alternative a mini rasp / file.

Die neuen Kabel

Kauf neue Kabel. Diese beiden Kabel heißen FFC oder FPC Flex Kabel. Sie haben einen Kontakt-Abstand (Pitch genannt) von 0,5 mm. Die original Länge ist 12cm (10 cm oder 15 cm eignen sich auch). Weitere Daten:

Knöpfe Power, Led, : 13 Pin - Type A

Knöpfe Play, + , - , Connect : 6 Pin - Type B (reverse) (=die Anschlüsse sind verdreht)

Die starre Anschluss-Fläche (=das blaue Ende) der Kabel sollte auf einer Seite maximal 0,5 mm lang sein. Beim 6Pin Kabel ist der Teil evtl. zu lang: Mit Fingerspitzen-Gefühl und Ruhe kann man dies auch selber anpassen. Das geht mit Cutter-Messer & Schere (siehe video unten) oder mit einer kleinen Feile.
