Remove upper Back-Cover

  • Get your iOpener/Heatgun and start by heating up the upper back cover.

  • Start heating around the edges and place your suction cup. Be careful of the display when heating. When heated enough, you should be able to insert a pick between the frame and the back glass.

  • Go around the frame and cut through all the glue to remove the back cover. Be careful not to cut too deep into the glue to avoid damaging the display.

  • Finally, remove the plastic clip that holds the secondary display connector in place and unplug the cable with a pair of pliers.

Rimuovi la custodia posteriore in alto

Prendi il tuo iOpener/pistola termica e inizia a riscaldare la parte superiore della custodia posteriore.

Inizia riscaldando attorno i bordi e posiziona la tua ventosa. Fai attenzione allo schermo quando riscaldi. Quando è abbastanza riscaldato, dovresti riuscire a inserire un plettro tra la cornice e il vetro posteriore.

Gira attorno la cornice e taglia tutta la colla per rimuovere la cover posteriore. Fai attenzione a non tagliare la colla troppo in profondità per evitare di danneggiare lo schermo.

Infine, rimuovi la molletta di plastica che tiene il connettore dello schermo secondario in posizione e scollega il cavo con un paio di pinze.
