Remove upper Back-Cover

  • Get your iOpener/Heatgun and start by heating up the upper back cover.

  • Start heating around the edges and place your suction cup. Be careful of the display when heating. When heated enough, you should be able to insert a pick between the frame and the back glass.

  • Go around the frame and cut through all the glue to remove the back cover. Be careful not to cut too deep into the glue to avoid damaging the display.

  • Finally, remove the plastic clip that holds the secondary display connector in place and unplug the cable with a pair of pliers.

Retira la parte superior de la cubierta trasera

Toma tu iOpener/Pistola de calor y empieza calentando la parte de arriba de la cubierta trasera.

Empieza calentando alrededor de los bordes y coloca tu ventosa de succión. Ten cuidado con el display cuando lo calientes. Cuando este lo suficiente caliente, debes ser capaz de insertar una púa entre el marco y el cristal trasero.

Trabaja alrededor y corta todo el pegamento para remover la cubierta trasera. Ten cuidado de no cortar muy profundo en el pegamento para evitar dañar el display.

Finalmente, retira el clip plástico que sostiene el conector secundario del display en su lugar y desconecta el cable con un par de pinzas.
