Pull feathers back into a down item

  • Locate the feather that's poking out of the fabric.

  • Don't pull the feather out. They will act like a tissue box and just keep coming!

  • Place a hand inside the item and try to pull the feather back into the lofted channel, called a baffle.

  • Apply heat to the fabric area either by rubbing it with your fingers or steaming it with an iron.

  • The heat will help the fabric fibers close up any remaining space left by the feather.

Ripristinare le piume all'interno di un capo imbottito in piuma

Trova la piuma che sta fuoriuscendo dal tessuto.

Non tirare fuori la piuma. Funzioneranno come una scatola di fazzoletti e continueranno a uscire!

Inserisci una mano all'interno del capo e cerca di riportare la piuma nel canale di imbottitura, chiamato baffle.

Applica calore sulla zona del tessuto, sfregandola con le dita o passando il vapore di un ferro da stiro.

Il calore aiuterà le fibre del tessuto a chiudere qualsiasi spazio residuo lasciato dalla piuma.
