Cut the webbing

  • Use a scrap piece of webbing to test that the hot knife has come up to temperature. The knife should easily melt through the webbing.

  • Holding the belt tight from both ends, carefully cut on the marked line.

  • Use a pair of pliers to hold the webbing if the mark is close to the end.

  • Save or discard the removed webbing responsibly.

  • Allow the belt to fully cool before handling.

  • Turn off the hot knife and alert those working nearby that the knife is off but still hot.

Gürtel kürzen

Teste dein heißes Schneidegerät (z. B. Heißschneider) zuerst an einem Reststück – es sollte den Gurt sauber durchtrennen, ohne großen Druck.

Spanne den Gürtel straff, halte ihn an beiden Enden fest und schneide entlang der Markierung.

Wenn die Markierung nah am Gürtelende liegt, hilft dir eine Flachzange beim Fixieren.

Lass die neue Schnittkante vollständig abkühlen, bevor du sie anfasst.

Entsorge das abgeschnittene Material umweltgerecht.

Schalte das Schneidegerät nach der Anwendung aus und weise andere in der Nähe darauf hin, dass es noch heiß ist.
