Disconnect electrical connections

Locate the heating element connections at the back of the dishwasher.

Take a Picture: Before disconnecting anything, take a photo of the wiring for easy reassembly.

Use a wrench to remove the nuts securing the heating element terminals. Gently disconnect the electrical connectors.
