Disassemble Trigger Mount

The trigger mount assembly comes in two parts: the trigger itself, and the ground plane around it which also acts as the bumper button. The ground plane is going to be replaced.
The magnet for the hall effect sensor on the board is placed inside the trigger. If you have difficulties with the trigger after reassembly, check that the magnet is still there.
Remove the trigger mechanism by sliding out the metal horizontal bar. Use a long, sturdy bar to place in the gap against the side of the bar, then apply steady pressure to the bar until it slides out the other side.
Before fully sliding the bar out, be careful! There is a spring underneath the trigger, so slowly pull the trigger out of the slot from above in a confined space to catch the spring if it pops out.
