Remove the RTC battery

  • Use the flat end of a spudger to gently pry up the RTC battery, separating the adhesive securing it to the frame.

  • Remove the RTC battery.

  • During reassembly:

  • When installing a new RTC battery, make sure the cable is facing its socket on the motherboard.

  • If your replacement battery comes with adhesive pre‑installed, remove the old adhesive from the frame before installing the new battery.

  • If it doesn't, you can reuse the adhesive if it's still sticky. If not, use thin, double‑sided tape to secure your new battery.

RTC-Batterie entfernen

Benutze das flache Ende eines Spudgers, um die RTC-Batterie vorsichtig hochzuhebeln und von dem Kleber zu lösen, mit dem sie am Rahmen befestigt ist.

Entferne die RTC-Batterie.

Beachte beim Zusammenbau folgende Punkte:

Wenn du eine neue RTC-Batterie einsetzt, achte darauf, dass das Kabel zu seinem Anschluss auf dem Motherboard hin zeigt.

Wenn deine Ersatz-Batterie mit Klebestreifen ausgestattet ist, entferne die alten Klebereste vom Rahmen, bevor du die neue Batterie einsetzt.

Wenn nicht, kannst du den alten Kleber wiederverwenden, wenn er noch klebrig genug ist. Sonst kannst du dünnes doppelseitiges Klebeband verwenden, um deine neue Batterie zu befestigen.
