Remove the RTC battery

  • Use the flat end of a spudger to gently pry up the RTC battery, separating the adhesive securing it to the frame.

  • Remove the RTC battery.

  • During reassembly:

  • When installing a new RTC battery, make sure the cable is facing its socket on the motherboard.

  • If your replacement battery comes with adhesive pre‑installed, remove the old adhesive from the frame before installing the new battery.

  • If it doesn't, you can reuse the adhesive if it's still sticky. If you need to replace the adhesive, use thin, double‑sided tape to secure your new battery.

Verwijder de RTC-batterij

Gebruik de platte kant van je spudger om de RTC-batterij uit de uitsparing omhoog te duwen tot de lijm loslaat.

Verwijder de RTC-batterij.

Zorg bij het weer in elkaar zetten van je toestel:

Dat de kabel van de batterij naar het contact op het moederbord wijst voordat je de nieuwe RTC-batterij plaatst.

Dat je de oude lijm uit de batterijuitsparing verwijdert als de nieuwe batterij een nieuwe kleefstrip bevat.

Als de nieuwe batterij geen nieuwe kleefstrip bevat, kun je de oude lijm gebruiken als deze nog steeds plakkerig is. Als de oude lijm niet meer te hergebruiken is, raden we je aan een dun laagje dubbelzijdige tape te gebruiken om de nieuwe batterij te bevestigen.
