Remove the RTC battery

  • Use the flat end of a spudger to gently pry up the RTC battery, separating the adhesive securing it to the frame.

  • Remove the RTC battery.

  • During reassembly:

  • When installing a new RTC battery, make sure the cable is facing its socket on the motherboard.

  • If your replacement battery comes with adhesive pre‑installed, remove the old adhesive from the frame before installing the new battery.

  • If it doesn't, you can reuse the adhesive if it's still sticky. If you need to replace the adhesive, use thin, double‑sided tape to secure your new battery.

RTC-Batterie entfernen

Verwende das flache Ende des Spudgers, um die RTC-Batterie vorsichtig anzuheben und den Kleber zu lösen, der sie am Gehäuse befestigt.

Entferne die RTC-Batterie.

Beim Zusammenbau:

Achte darauf, dass das Kabel der neuen RTC-Batterie in Richtung der Buchse auf dem Mainboard zeigt.

Wenn die Ersatzbatterie bereits mit Kleber versehen ist, entferne den alten Kleber vom Gehäuse, bevor du die neue Batterie einsetzt.

Wenn das nicht der Fall ist, kannst du den Kleber wiederverwenden, wenn er noch klebrig ist. Wenn du den Kleber ersetzen musst, nimm am besten dünnes, doppelseitiges Klebeband, um deinen neuen Akku zu fixieren.
