Solder the battery connector

  • Press the soldering iron tip against the circuit board's solder pad and the battery connector's lead for a few seconds to heat them both. Angle the tip so it has maximum contact with the pad and lead.

  • Feed the solder wire into the heated area until there's a concave pool ("mini volcano") of solder surrounding the lead.

  • Don't feed the solder directly onto the tip as it won't flow properly into the pad and lead, causing a weak connection.

  • Remove the solder wire first, then remove the soldering iron from the pad.

  • Repeat this process for the other battery connector lead.

  • If the second battery connector lead is no longer flush with the board, push it back through while heating the first lead before attempting to solder it in place. If needed, desolder the battery connector and restart this step.

Salda il connettore della batteria

Premi la punta del saldatore contro la piazzola di saldatura della scheda e sul terminale del connettore della batteria per qualche secondo per scaldarli entrambi. Angola la punta in modo che faccia il massimo contatto con la piazzola e con il terminale.

Aggiungi lo stagno nell'area scaldata finché non si forma una pozza concava ("mini vulcano") di stagno che circonda il terminale.

Non aggiungere lo stagno direttamente sulla punta perché non scorrerà correttamente nella piazzola e sul terminale, causando una connessione debole.

Rimuovi prima il filo di stagno, poi il saldatore dalla piazzola.

Ripeti questo processo per il secondo terminale della batteria.

Se il secondo terminale del connettore della batteria non è più a filo con la scheda, spingilo attraverso mentre scaldi il primo terminale prima di cercare di saldarlo in posizione. Se necessario, dissalda il connettore della batteria e ricomincia questo passo.
