Solder the wires

  • Your splice is secured in place! Use your preferred tool to solder the splice.

  • Make sure the solder fully saturates the splice. If the solder doesn't flow into the splice, apply flux to the splice and try again. If the flux didn't help, you may need to turn up the soldering iron temperature.

Soldeer de draden aan elkaar

De kabels zitten goed vast, soldeer ze nu definitief vast met een soldeerbout naar keuze.

Zorg dat het soldeer de verbinding niet volledig vult. Als het soldeer niet in de twee samengevlochten draden vloeit, breng je wat extra flux aan en probeer je het nog eens. Als de flux niet helpt, is het een goed idee de temperatuur van je soldeerbout wat te verhogen.
