  • Ensure your vehicle is turned off.

  • Do not touch the new lightbulb with your hands. The oil on your hands can damage the bulb and cause it to fail prematurely.

  • Inside the driver’s side of the vehicle, pull the hood latch to unlock the hood.

  • Open the hood.

  • Secure the hood using the hood support rod.
