Begin soldering

  • Never leave the soldering iron unattended while the power switch is in the orange ON position.

  • The sliding power switch has a built-in color indicator for each position:

  • Orange: ON

  • Blue: OFF

  • Slide the power switch to the orange ON position. You're ready to start soldering!

  • The LED will initially light up blue, then turn purple and pulse to show that the iron is warming up.

  • Never hold the soldering iron past the grip. Touching the metal soldering tip while the Touch-Safe Indicator LED is orange or purple can cause severe burns. Always assume the tip is hot.

  • Hold the soldering iron by the base of the handle with your fingers on the knurled grip.

Commencer la soudure

Ne laissez jamais le fer à souder sans surveillance lorsque l'interrupteur d'alimentation est en position orange ON.

L'interrupteur coulissant est doté d'un indicateur de couleur intégré pour chaque position :

Orange : ON

Bleu : OFF

Faites glisser l'interrupteur sur la position orange ON. Vous êtes prêt à commencer la soudure !

La LED s'allume d'abord en bleu, puis devient violette et émet des impulsions pour indiquer que le fer chauffe.

Ne tenez jamais le fer à souder au-delà de la poignée. Si vous touchez la panne de soudure en métal alors que la LED de sécurité est orange ou violette, vous risquez de vous brûler gravement. Partez toujours du principe que la panne est chaude.

Tenez le fer à souder par la base du manche, les doigts sur la poignée moletée.
