Insert the new soldering iron tip

  • Make sure the new tip is rotated in the orientation you want it relative to the handle before inserting it. This is helpful for asymmetrical tips like a bevel or knife.

  • Push the tip into the iron enclosure in the handle until it clicks into place.

  • The base of the tip should be slightly recessed into the front of the handle. If it isn't, push it further in before powering on the iron.

Insérer la nouvelle panne de fer à souder

Assurez-vous que la nouvelle panne est tournée dans l'orientation souhaitée par rapport au manche avant de l'insérer. Ceci est utile pour les pannes asymétriques comme une panne biseau ou une panne couteau.

Poussez la panne dans son logement dans le manche jusqu'à ce qu'elle se mette en place avec un clic.

La base de la panne doit être légèrement enfoncée dans l'avant du manche. Si ce n'est pas le cas, enfoncez-la davantage avant de mettre le fer à souder en marche.
