Disassembling Logitech MX Mechanical

Use a keycap remover tool / opening tool or your hands to remove all keycaps.

crwdns2936071:02crwdne2936071:0 — Unscrew 20x black screws

Remove 20x black screws with a Philips size 0 screwdriver.

crwdns2936071:03crwdne2936071:0 — Open back cover

The back cover is held in place by small plastic tabs.

crwdns2936071:04crwdne2936071:0 — Remove plastic frame above PCB

Disconnect controller from battery.

crwdns2936071:05crwdne2936071:0 — (Optional) Remove screws holding PCB

There are 4 capped screws (silver) fixing the PCB to the metal part of the keyboard. One hides under the ribon cable.
