Secure the phone to your work surface

  • Since the battery pull tabs require two hands, you'll need to firmly secure the phone to your work surface.

  • Before securing your phone, make sure nothing is under it. Only secure the phone by the raised lip of the frame, and be very careful not to press down on any internal components.

  • Move the pull tabs out from under your phone so they're accessible.

  • Use F‑Clamps or C‑Clamps to secure the phone to your work surface. At minimum, you'll need two clamps—one for the top edge and one for the bottom edge.

  • Use clamps with plastic or rubber pads, or be extra careful not to scuff your device.

  • If you don't have any clamps, have a friend hold the phone firmly in place.

  • Make sure to follow ESD precautions when securing the phone.

Fissa il telefono alla superficie di lavoro

Poiché le strisce di estrazione della batteria richiedono due mani, dovrai fissare saldamente il telefono alla superficie di lavoro.

Prima di fissare il telefono, assicurati che non ci sia nulla sotto di esso. Fissa il telefono solo dal bordo rialzato del telaio e fai attenzione a non premere su alcun componente interno.

Sposta le strisce di estrazione da sotto il telefono in modo che siano accessibili.

Usa morsetti F o morsetti C per fissare il telefono alla superficie di lavoro. Al minimo, avrai bisogno di due morsetti: uno per il bordo superiore e uno per il bordo inferiore.

Usa morsetti con cuscinetti di plastica o gomma, oppure fai attenzione a non graffiare il dispositivo.

Se non hai morsetti, chiedi a un amico di tener fermo il telefono.

Assicurati di seguire le precauzioni contro l'ESD (scariche elettrostatiche) quando fissi il telefono.
