What we're dealing with

Here's what we're dealing with- an OG, non Bluetooth Minirig that's over 10 years old.
It's working, but the battery life has dropped to unusable. The light switches from green to cyan an hour or so after being fully charged.
It's time to replace its battery!
While it's tempting to disassemble by unscrewing those silver screws on the face, that's not the way in. They are secured with Nyloc nuts and trying to remove them is likely to cause damage and frustration. It's far better to turn it over and remove the base.
