  • Inserting your tool is very difficult. Be patient and reheat the screen at any point if it feels stuck.

  • Don't insert your tool deeper than 2 mm, as you risk damaging the front-facing camera.

  • Insert the tip of a Jimmy into the left side of the earpiece speaker cutout.

  • If you don't have a Jimmy, you can use another small metal tool. Make sure it's thin and rigid.

  • Pull up on the suction handle with a strong, steady force.

  • Firmly press the Jimmy into the cutout and lower it until the tip slides under the glass.
