Remove innards

Firmly wiggle the pocket clip while pushing out. The entire phone unit will slide out. It's very stiff, but it will come.
Ensure the three inserts have been removed (see previous step.) The tiny clips on the backs of those interfere with the innards, and will stop it from coming out and also be damaged by the attempt.
