Reattach the lace to the patch

  • In our example, the original speedlace was connected at the ends with a fabric pulling patch. We will re-attach it in now, using the sewing machine.

  • Wrap the patch around the lace endings and place it onto the sewing machine. The open side (red circle) should point towards you.

  • Push lace endings against each other in the middle of the patch, so that there is no gap.

  • Sew along the middle of the patch with a single straight stitch. The goal is to sew through both laces at the same time, and "tack" everything in place for the next step.

Den Schnürsenkel wieder am Stoff anbringen

In unserem Beispiel waren die Enden des Schnürsenkels mit einem Stück Stoff vernäht. In diesem schritt werden wir den Stoff mit einer Nähmaschine wieder anbringen.

Wickele hierfür den Stoff um die Enden des Schnürsenkels und platziere es in der Nähmaschine. Die offene Seite des Stoffes (roter Kreis) sollte zu dir zeigen.

Drücke die beiden Enden des Schnürsenkels in der Mitte des Stoffes aneinander, sodass keine Lücke mehr besteht.

Nähe mit einem Geraden Stich und einer Naht in der Mitte des Stoffes horizontal entlang. Ziel ist es, durch beide Enden des Schnürsenkels gleichzeitig zu nähen und diese dadurch fest aneinander und an Ort und Stelle zu halten.
