Exposing the next layer of internals

next, either with pliers or by hand, remove the three hex nuts on the bottom plate containing the internal mechanisms, by rotating anti-clock wise.
Next, pull and rotate the centre piece anti-clock (BE-CAREFUL)removing this piece will likely fully detach the top and bottom of the internals from one another, the internal will be quick to fall apart and may rapidly do so if wound up.
